Visual Disco Mix

As announced on the website Visualdiscomix has native support to BCD controller.I used DJ Demo BCD there available The experience with it was quite good just disorientated by the GUI design ...c'mon you do betterFirst of all , YES guys you did a good job on this piece of software but my friends you put pitch control on the contrary as you find on BCD so the + is for - and viceversa to listen the preview you ahve to plug into audio card, scratch button active jog wheel and stop music.As you are running in advanced settings all actions need double click.Pitch bend buttons sometime work not good quite good the effectswell let me say the software is really compatible but not better then B-DJ for that price

DJ Mk 2, works great but it has insufficient functions!

DirectX solution

Xylio guys integrated native effects with the other down loadable form their website , the quality is not really professional just the flanger sound good, so I 'm going to integrate directX ones , but it's not that easy .Not all are compatible and also there the quality it's not very good , in my tests I used Opcode, Sonic Foundry, Antares, Spectral Design some of them sounds great other .... not the same.the problem is always the same how to assign the midi control that is always 2 for each channel so if you assign a filter to a control you need to use the mouse to change effect.My dream is the compatibility as VST ones but it's another story.

it's works with Traktor BUT ......

Some friends asked me about traktor midi mapping.First of all you have to download some files and install Midi Yoke and Bome MIDI Translator.Switch now to advanced view your BCD panel then on Traktor choose as midi imput Midi Yoke load the tks file with its settings.Ok now we can start Bome load the bmtp file and choose as input line BCD2000 and midi same Midi YokeNow Traktor is ready to communicate play, stop, cue, mixer, fader , tone and pitch control BUT don't touch Jog Wheel unfortunately it doesn't work as I want!!!Other bad thing no way for loop and reverse commands same problem about stability , the experience was really frustrating that you gonna think B-DJ is a piece of cake

Live Audio [MP3 test]

This week end I decide to record my session on mp3 file , I used flanger , loop and scratch just to test these features.Others function used were stop vinyl and play reverse.As I told you this file is for a test purpose , loop and scratch will be better with more training, the difficulties are much more increasing BPM , but this is normal with every player.The quality of the wave recording it's great !!

Virtual Dj & BCD 2000? No problem ....

well today i received a mail from a well informed "friend" about Atomix rumors that want the crew working hard to push new Virtual DJ version 4 release with native support for our consolle , this is a great news ... not i don't really know what happens to Xylio guys and their software in bundle with bcd2000.well guys save some bucks for this new release ... it will be not cheap !!!
