B-DJ 1.2 released
Xylio finally released B-DJ 1.2, a maintenance version.
* audio stability improved
* fixed mp3 files problems (no more bad sound/silence at the beginning)
* native VST plugins support (please test your plugins before going live as some might crash the application)
* many small bug fixes
ATTENTION: your old playlists will be deleted automatically and you will have to re-make them. You can also backup them and overwrite them onto the new empty ones (all files in the 'lists' folder).
Download from here.
If this version still doesn't fix some of your stability problems Xylio plan to release an experimental (alternate) version soon for you to test and give them feedback on.

I've just spent a few hours removing this version as it provided a lot of crackling with all my mp3's. Since buying the BCD2000 and installing this B-dj I've been far from impressed, it's a two bob creation and if I knew what I know now I would've put my money towards some cdj's.
just forget about this version! I thought I'd give it a try ... worst decision in years. Instead of djing ... I'll spent tonight fixing my system. It brings lot of crackling.

What you are talking about it's true.
Bdj it's not a professional product at the moment. But there are other ways like traktor or vdj to use better the BCD.
Bcd it's a good product respect the prize.

to have less crakling you need to put more latency, high values of latency make sound good.
But I think that the first version of BDJ, the 1.0, it's the best and the only working stable version.

Have 1 question, how do we make the VST plugin interface pop up when loading? Was able to load the plugin effects successfully, but am not able to tweak them further as the VST plugin interface does not pop up when I click them. the effects just load. Any advise regarding this. Thanks in advance.

Hi, DJ Gas. I would like to hear a comment from you. I'm very interested in buying a BCD2000 Controller. I know it has some faults and all but now I'm more a guy trying to learn some basics of DJing with cheap equipment. I don't know if I wait a little more and buy the BCD 3000. Do you think it's a good idea in this case? Another doubt: can I use the BCD to go live in small gigs? I already have a notebook so it can be a good idea while I don't have enough money to buy all the stuff I want (a good midi controller and soundcard).

have tried right clicking it, but still no luck. am not sure why. have already downloaded the wrapper (acon chain linker) that you've recommended also, but i am unable to open the plugins. have also read the instructions, but to no luck. many thanks for your help.

Yes you can buy the BCD2000 for sure. It's a good item to starting deejaying, and it's cheap.
But it works well to dj with more experience too, like me.
It's important to use BDJ 1.0 (in bundle with BCD CDrom).

I don't know why you can't edit VST plugin parameters.

Do you know if there's any way of making the bcd cue function work as in cdj200? i mean to keep playing when i keep cue pressed and press play.

Yes.
You can choice CUE mode in setup configuration panel. There are two voice Cue Logic 1 and Cue Logic 2.
You can select the best for you.

yes i know that but the music stops if i press play while cue is pressed. that's what i meant. i want the music to keep playing if i press play and stop pressing cue.(cdj200 feature)

thanks a lot for your help. I also see some BCD2000 videos that you made, seems really good. Just one more question (at least for now ;): How well does the BCD200 works with Deckadance? I found it a very nice program, but couldn' test it.

Yes BCD2000 is compatible at 90% with Live 6, but some midi messages have strange responses.

I have no problems at all with BDJ and BCD2000. My BCD rocks!!!! I DJ every weekend on radio and one of the biggest clubs (Coconuts Live) in Southern Africa!!! However I did have to make some tweaks and changes of the system to make it work flawless.

my bcd keeps freezing up with decadance.im using vista on a sony viao. any ideas?

Há muitas diferenças. Esta versão é mais estável , agora tem a sustentação nativa do vst , ter fixo amp3 arquiva problemas , mudaram valores de botões do eq .

hi all, I have used the bcd2000 with good success with win xp. BUT Now that I have bought a new laptop with the obligitory VISTA. I now have many problems. It loads in to the laptop, then it just will not launch the program atleast 90% of the time. When it eventually does launch it clips mp3's. There should be more variation on the latencey I feel.
I hsave tried to uninstall it. But it is like a wild beast and refuses to BOG OFF. after several hours here at my laptop i eventually did it. Re-Installed and back to square 1. error's galore. I am using a dual core pentium with Vista. behringer bcd2000 and version 1.0.0

ı'm using b-dj it is enough for now but :) when ı load the plugins they don't work ;the name of the plugin is written at the side of the knob on b-dj but not working. please describe the steps.

when you see the name of effect written you need to activate it too.
Check your configuration panel, where you can assign knobs and button, otherwise try with your mouse.
Use original skin to try this.

I quess ,ı couldn't explain my problem as u right man. ı loaded plugin (effect chainer)to deckA knob1 and tried to activet it with mouse (not knob)because knob did not work, and also then effect. ı checked my key config and configured knobs how ı need.No changes'. ı think ,ı'll never learn using plugins. Which plugin can ı use and how. ı'm gonna mad.

You need to configure your knob by bdj control panel (configuration > Midi shortcuts).
After that you need to activate effect on bdj skin with your mouse, so you can use knob to change effect values.
Please check configuration plugin also to see if works with in and out audio.

Using VST effects: to make adjustments you need to click the unlabelled button that is underneath the name of the effect on the blue skin. I'm using v1.3 though. You can the effects on using the buttons on the BCD2000 itself or on screen.
hey everyone,
actually i just got this bcd 2000 and i wanted to use it with virtual dj but the headphone jack doesnt have any output...i already tried changing everything on the behringer control panel, virtual dj,,,punched all the buttons of the interface and nothing...no output...but if i use behringers software i get noise from the headphones...does any one know wahts goin on??
I got my BCD2000 working with VDJ5 but when listening to the music playing through my headphones I hear a lot of crackling. Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

Yes , increase latency values, or free memory resources.

I have the BCD2000 (using deckadance) and all works GREAT, except the headphones.. the master keeps playing out the headphones, and no matter what I press on the BCD2000 unit, the master continues to play out of the headphones.. how do I switch it over??

my headphones are the same as the master output levels and wont let me play with them, what are a number of things that i could do to fix it?
