Will Traktor ever get married with BCD 2000 ?

I know you all are waiting for native support for your bcd2000 , at the moment we have just few rumors about next release and I don't like to give more details ... but Native Instruments crew is working on it .I'll describe you some tricks to support from the actual traktor version our consolle. As we know actually midi support and traktor doesn't communicate very well so we have to use another software gateway to let our jewels start the party ..Midi translator software I have tested on bcd2000 and traktor are Bomes Midi e Midi OX , you can easily find configuration file to play with traktor if not let me know I'll send you mine expecially for the Pitch Wheel.Unfortunately the biggest problem is to properly control the Jog Wheel , if you want more details you can read this post very exhaustive

First impressions.

After an initial confusion generated by software user interface, I think not the best, I found the first positive impressions on the BCD 2000. You skip the hardware, good items for sure and good constructive quality , but it's very important to know that BCD is a "naked" controller, depends 100% from software, so NO PC NO PARTY. It's not a analog mixer, so if you put your turntables, no sound out. It could be useful use it such as analog mixer.
Advantages are that sound of your old vinyls, before go to the amplifier, or before being recorded in wave on your hard disk, it will converted to 24Bit and 96Khz. I can assure you that difference is clear. Also with file mp3 to 128Kbit/s your performance will have advantages in quality.

B-DJ software, works but not perfect!

Installing the B-DJ software that comes with the unit was also straight forward enough, even without reading the installing instructions in the manual provided. Since it's supposed to work 100% (and it does, but read on...), I thought that I'd begin with that software, to make sure the unit does play properly. Voilá. All good on looks so far, presented with a nice 1024 x 768 laout of the software, very much in the BCD2000 skin. I had to try it... reaching for the left jogwheel to emulate scratching, the screen moved in unison! What a great feeling that waiting this long I'd be smashing out the mixes left right and centre. I dropped in via the file manager pane of the B-DJ software (no drag & drop from a desktop / external folder available yet) and started to play... Played the track and scratched it..superb!! Got another track on deck 2 and started to mix the tracks.
