B-CONTROL DEEJAY BCD3000

Near to be relesead the new Behringer Dj Controller, his name is BCD 3000 and it will be the brother of our BCD 2000. The official page is here.
The B-CONTROL DEEJAY BCD3000 DJ mixer lets you play, mix and scratch any MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG, WAV and AIFF file with a real vinyl feel. Packed with mind-blowing features such as mixer, dual-player, effects, mic/phono preamps and a full-fledged monitor section, this 4-channel USB audio interface perfectly complements the included Native Instruments Traktor 3 LE DJ software or most other DJ software, running on Windows XP and Mac OS X operating systems. You've waited long enough. Go to your local dealer, and make sure this hot babe is yours. High-quality components and exceptionally rugged construction ensure long life.

The most important news are: more file format support, MAC OS X compatibility and Traktor LE bundle software. For this some buttons are relabelled: (Play - Pause are reversed, the Analog ins on the 2000 are now cue selects on the 3000 and the on air/ Talkover buttons are now input selects, and the FX buttons are now ON - FX out - FX In - Action intsead of 1 - 2 - 3 - 4, this is just to make the controller more like the traktor Interface)

There are some not implemented features yet: the second line in port, digital in and out and second master output. It's not clear if the USB interface is 2.0 now or not.

MAC OS X Drivers to install BCD 2000.

Very good notice to Mac users.Christoph have been released install driver to Mac.So now you should be able to use the BCD2000 on your PowerBook, iBook, iMac and PowerMac, as well as your MacBook, MacBook Pro, or Mac Pro.
You can visit his blog here. Currently only MIDI in and output works. Audio does not. That means you can control Traktor the way you would on a Windows computer, but you won't hear anything through the BCD2000's audio ports or record anything trough them. You can still, of course, use other audio outputs, built-in or external, that do work with MacOS X. Right now the MIDI input and output are should be identical to the Windows driver in B-DJ mode. Which means a reasonable amount of pain is implied when trying to configure Traktor for the BCD2000. Basically, the same hack that works for Windows (using MIDI-Rules and a loopback device, in our case Apple's built-in IAC) is also required for Mac. Cristoph hope to incorporate similar functionality inside the driver in the future, eliminating the need for the hack.

New release of Midi Rules by Cycocraut.

New release of Midi Rules now have Traktor 3.2 support. This release dated 12-25-06 it's called MIDI-Rules-Protoype_2006-12-25 . It have a new auto setup application with a java interface that it's more easy to load DRL files. So you can load at startup the new Cyco setup BCD2000-Traktor3_-_mb4guns-cycokrauts_Flavor_2007-01-01.zip or the new Quadrispro setup BCD2000-Traktor3_-_Quadrispros_4_Decks_Beta_2006-12-28.zip every time that you want. There is a third party setup for who does not use the internal mixer: BCD2000-Traktor3_-_GarrapetaV11.zip . You can read documentation for more informations.
